The Academy of Finance celebrated its 28th annual Graduation Dinner held on June 13 at The Inn at New Hyde Park. The evening began with Christine Teetz, Academy of Finance program manager of New Hyde Park Memorial High School, introducing the guest speakers, advisory board members, administrators and faculty.
New Hyde Park Memorial’s Science Research Program students from Mrs. Radonis’ and Mrs. Angela Stone’s classes, who competed at the Long Island Science Congress fair in both the Junior and Senior Divisions, were honored at an awards ceremony on May 22 at St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington.
New Hyde Park Memorial students Kathleen Gray, Saba Gulzar, Lamya Islam and Victoria McGuigan from Angela Stone’s 10th grade Science Research class took part in Northwell Health-Feinstein Medical Institute’s Medical Marvels 2018 Competition.
New Hyde Park Memorial teacher Mrs. Angela Stone accompanied 21 students from the Senior High Science Research program to the Long Island Science Congress-Senior Division on April 18; and New York State’s Science and Engineering Fair on April 23.
