New Hyde Park Memorial’s Science Research Program, which included one seventh grader from Mrs. Sideridis’s class, five of Ms. Phillip’s eighth graders, eight of Mrs. Radonis’s ninth graders, and 24 students made up of Mrs. Stone’s sophomores, juniors and seniors competed at the Long Island Science Congress in both the Junior and Senior Divisions on April 9 and 10, respectively.
Three New Hyde Park students earned recognition in the eSchoolData Art Contest. The annual art contest runs regionally in New York during the school year for students in districts utilizing the eSchoolData Student Information System.
Eight students from New Hyde Park Memorial High School were awarded the 2019 New York State Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
On May 30, two teams from New Hyde Park Memorial High School traveled to Columbia University to compete in the Junior Achievement Business Plan Competition semifinals.
