Floral Park Memorial senior Weiting Zhang has been selected as a semifinalist in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The Board of Education appointed Maria Hecht as the new principal of Floral Park Memorial High School. Ms. Hecht most recently served as an assistant principal of New Hyde Park Memorial High School. She replaces Jason Martin, who resigned on Aug. 2.

And the crowd goes wild! On March 1, Floral Park Memorial’s District Sports Night Team shocked the nation. Well maybe not the nation, but definitely the entire H. Frank Carey High School gymnasium. After nearly 30 years, the curse has been broken and Floral Park was crowned first place champions!
Research indicates that students who participate in extracurricular activities perform better academically. So what better way to get the class of 2023 heading in that direction than to expose the students to the abundance of clubs that Floral Park Memorial has to offer?
