The Business Department is pleased to congratulate its students for their outstanding performance at FBLA'S SDM & SLC competitions held during the months of January and April. Students were recognized on April 23rd at one of our first in-person events. A big thank you is extended to the advisers and the administrators at Floral Park Memorial for their dedication and commitment to our students.
The Model United Nations Program at Sewanhaka Central High School District continued a long-standing tradition on March 20. The Model UN Club, in conjunction with members of the five high schools, hosted its 27th annual Sewanhaka Intra-District Model UN Conference, internally known as SIDMUN.
Advanced Placement Drawing student Gagandeep Kaur’s artwork was chosen for display in the Heckscher Museum of Art’s annual “Long Island’s Best: Young Artists” exhibition, both in-person and virtually from April 24-May 23. The exhibition features artwork from 83 high school students across Nassau and Suffolk counties.
