Four H. Frank Carey students were named nominees for the Roger Rees Award for Excellence in Student Performance. Seniors Alyssa Cassese and Kristina Rossi and junior Kyle Colasurdo were recognized in the best actress and best actor categories, respectively. Senior Josephine Kurdziel was named as first alternate in the best actress category.
Floral Park Memorial High School hosted the 25th annual Sewanhaka Intra-District Model United Nations Conference on April 14.

The Floral Park Memorial PTSA held its annual Reflections Coffeehouse on May 2. This year, the newly formed Creative Writing Club, under the direction of Mr. Dustin Demmers, created an inviting opportunity for students to share their original poetry, short stories and music.
