State Conference Accolades for Sewanhaka FCCLA

Four members of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Sewanhaka Chapter attended the annual State Leadership Conference at Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center in Callicoon, New York, with more than 150 students from New York State.

The students participated in three STAR (Students Taking Action for Recognition) events showcasing their college and career readiness skills in family and consumer sciences and related occupations.

The following members received gold recognition, earning the privilege to represent New York State at the National Conference this summer in Anaheim, California.
Seventh grader Ashna Balroop – Environmental Ambassador
Junior Keziah Joseph – Life Event Planning

A couple of members received silver recognition, also earning the privilege to represent New York State at the National Conference.
