H. Frank Carey High School is launching its Be the “I” in Kind initiative. Soon, students and faculty alike will be able to pledge to “be the ‘I’ in kind” where they will get to pose as the “I” in a giant KIND mural. The pledges will then become part of a larger KIND mosaic mural. The Art Department launched a contest for students to create the KIND mural. Hundreds of students submitted entries. Ninth grader Thomas Peers was selected as the winner. His KIND submission will be turned into a giant canvas mural that will be erected in December at Carey. Stay tuned for more information when the campaign begins!
