“Liberty & Justice for All” Panel

On June 18, the Men of Elmont and the Leading Ladies of Elmont held a virtual summit and panel discussion, “Liberty & Justice for All: The Future Leaders Discuss Current Issues of Race in America.” Four members from each group sat on the panel, which was hosted by Elmont Memorial High School alum and social activist Erik Blamoville. Topics included current issues in America and what changes could be made at the school and district-level in order to start making meaningful change.

The discussion was intellectually rich and our scholars' insights on current issues of race in America were outstanding. We look forward to more discussion and meaningful changes brought about by our scholars' voices and actions.
