Floral Park Memorial High School Closed on December 21, 2020

Please be advised the district was notified that a faculty member at Floral Park Memorial High School has a confirmed case of Covid19.  Due to the number of faculty that need to quarantine as a result, and many staff being absent tomorrow due to other Covid19 related reasons, Monday, December 21st will be a day of remote instruction for all students attending Floral Park Memorial High School.  All faculty will teach remotely, and all students will access their classes as if it were their usually scheduled day to be learning remotely.  Floral Park students in the CTE program will also attend those courses remotely.

As the building was closed over the weekend, it will be deep cleaned and disinfected on Monday, December 21.

The Nassau County Department of Health will continue to conduct contact tracing and inform those who may need to quarantine. Cooperation with the Department of Health is essential to determine the length of the school closure.

Once the contact tracing is completed, I will be able to inform you as to the length of the closure.

As always, the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff are our top priority.
