More than 100 Elmont Memorial students participated in the Long Island Language Teachers poster contest during World Language Week in March. The theme was “Making Connections: Languages are key. Five posters were selected to compete with other schools on Long Island. The students who qualified were Ryen Campbell, Epiphany Hill, Rechyl Mickens, Karl Nieves and Kara Hooke. Congratulations to all five who received certificates from LILT.
