Model UN Team Wins Award

Elmont Memorial High School’s Model United Nations Program won the Outstanding Small Delegation Team Award during the recent international Princeton University Model UN Conference. The students developed resolutions for complex issues such as the Yemeni Displacement Crisis, the Kashmir Conflict, Global Food Insecurity, Agricultural Development and Nuclear Anti-Proliferation. Congrats to the award-winning team, Head Delegate Munahil Sultana, Faculty Adviser Nkenge W. Gilliam and Chaperone Phillip Cabrera.
