Three student-researchers from Elmont Memorial High School qualified for Round 2 of the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair. LISEF is a competition for the most advanced high school projects. Participants present their original scientific research to professionals in the field. Marvia Pressoir, Maxline Delorme and Christopher Alexander scored in the top 25% of projects in the first round. They will compete at Round 2 on March 12 for the chance to represent Long Island at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Anaheim, Calif.
