Important Message from the Superintendent, 10.4.2020
Please be advised that in consultation with the Nassau County Department of Health, and out of an abundance of caution, New Hyde Park Memorial High School will be closed for at least Monday, October 5, 2020 and Tuesday, October 6, 2020. All faculty and staff will work remotely during this time. All instruction will be conducted remotely as well.
A member of the administrative team is symptomatic, has been advised to quarantine, and we are awaiting the results of testing. Once the case is confirmed either positive or negative, and again in consultation with the Department of Health, the length of the closure will be determined. At that time, you will be notified when school can re-open. Deep cleaning of the building will be conducted on Monday.
If the case is confirmed positive, the Department of Health will conduct all necessary contact tracing.
