Sewanhaka High School and CTE Program Closed November 30-December 1

Please be advised that we were informed today that a student at Sewanhaka High School has a confirmed case of Covid-19.  In consultation with the Nassau County Department of Health, Sewanhaka High School will be closed on Monday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 1st. 


All Sewanhaka High School faculty and staff will work remotely during this time.  All instruction for students of Sewanhaka High School will be conducted remotely as well.  


Students who are scheduled to attend the CTE program at Sewanhaka High School in-person on Monday and Tuesday will remain at their home school, where they will participate in those classes remotely.


The Department of Health will investigate the case. Those that need to quarantine will be notified as soon as possible.   


As always, the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff are our top priority.
