Important Message from the Superintendent, 1.13.2021

Please be advised that due to an unanticipated large number of faculty being absent tomorrow due to Covid 19 related and unrelated reasons, Thursday, January 14th will be a day of remote instruction for all students attending Floral Park Memorial and H. Frank Carey High Schools.  Additionally, confirmed cases of Covid 19 for students at Floral Park Memorial High School have been reported and contact tracing needs to be conducted.

All faculty of these schools will teach remotely, and all students will access their classes as if it were their usually scheduled day to be learning remotely.  Floral Park Memorial and H. Frank Carey students in the CTE program will also attend those courses remotely.

Floral Park Memorial High School was deep cleaned and disinfected this evening.

It is our hope that the faculty absence situation will be rectified so that these schools can be in session as soon as possible.

As always, the health and safety of our students and staff are our top priority.

James J. Grossane, Ed. D.

Superintendent of Schools
