During the 2022-23 school year, Carey students in Science Research 2, 3 and 4 competed and presented in multiple science fairs and symposiums sponsored by the Long Island Science Congress (LISC), the South Asian American Women's Alliance (SAAWA), the New York Times and PSEG, as well as at the Carey High School Science Fair and the Sewanhaka Central High School District Science Research Symposium. These students worked on their own individual science research projects all year and had the opportunity to present their findings to scientists, professors and fellow students.
