On Nov. 4, H. Frank Carey High School students attended New York Jets Business Day at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The event provided an immersive opportunity for students to explore the inner workings of a professional sports organization and learn how business concepts come to life in the fast-paced world of the NFL.
Throughout the day, students toured MetLife Stadium, visiting areas such as the locker rooms, press box and luxury suites. They also participated in interactive sessions led by Jets executives and staff members, who discussed topics including sports marketing, event management, sponsorships and fan engagement. The experience allowed students to gain valuable insight into the teamwork, planning and innovation required to operate a successful sports franchise.
The trip reflected Carey's ongoing commitment to experiential learning in its business education program. By connecting classroom lessons to real-world experiences, opportunities like Jets Business Day inspire students to explore career paths in marketing, management and entrepreneurship while developing the professional skills needed for future success.
