On March 12, the district proudly hosted its 22nd annual Gallery@77 reception, celebrating 25 exceptional student artists from across the district.
Each art educator selected one outstanding student work to be featured in this year’s exhibition, showcasing the creativity and talent of these young artists. The event brought together students, teachers, district administrators and families to honor the students’ dedication and artistic achievements.
The selected students will have their artwork exhibited in the district’s central administration building for the next year. Congratulations to Leilah Gonzalez, Sophie Lissade, Camila Santander, Royce Stephens and Isabella Thelusma from Elmont Memorial High School; Emilia Cuzco Angamarca, Rowan DeJean, Lucille Lynch, Maxxine Pena and Samantha Verrelli from Floral Park Memorial High School; Alyza Barzola, Penelope DeStefano, Madison Ottavio–Echeverria, Marcela Flores and Julie Rivera from H. Frank Carey High School; Jamie Portillo Carrero, Ava Chiang, Kiera Coope and Emily Oh from New Hyde Park Memorial High School; and Kiana Arcillas, Abdullah Asif, Mikaela John, Aarna Khanna, Max Leon and Jade Trask from Sewanhaka High School.
