Congrats to the following Carey Science Research students for being recognized for their research at the South Asian American Women's Alliance (SAAWA) Awards Ceremony on June 5, at the Merrick Golf Course.
Stefania Spallino and Smriti Rout received Honorable Mention in the Physical Sciences category for their work on the “Optimization of Knee Brace Design For Treatment of Patellar Subluxation.” Michelle Zheng also achieved an Honorable Mention honor for her essay on how artificial intelligence and robotics are transforming the medical field.
