A large group of people around a sign that says Beyond King Tut

H. Frank Carey High School Advanced Placement World History students visited the “Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience” in New York City on Dec. 6.

The students enjoyed the interactive displays and the narration of the young pharaoh’s life, family and Egyptian culture. The exhibit also explored how modern scientists are using advanced technology to continue the study of Ancient Egyptian artifacts. The students were excited to make connections to the classroom by learning about ancient cultures and how these cultures have impacted the modern world.
