Elmont Science Research students participated at the Long Island Science Congress, an adjudicated exhibit of science projects by students of Nassau County and Suffolk County middle schools, junior high schools and senior high schools, sponsored by the Long Island Sections of the Science Teachers Association of New York State (STANYS). More than 850 students competed in the Senior Division, and nearly 700 in the junior division this year.
