The Elmont Business Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America recently visited the AriZona Iced Tea Company. Thirty students, along with advisers Peter Teemsma and Elizabeth McGarry, were greeted by the executive director of sales and then treated to a tour by the building engineer, who designed an incredibly welcoming building.
The students toured the company's departments and heard from the social media coordinator, data analytics, vice president of planning and development, executive sales coordinator and the owner of the company, Don Vultaggo. Each person spoke about a day in their business life, their individual backgrounds and answered questions. Mr. Vultaggo gave the students excellent business advice.
At the end of the day, the students were treated to a delicious lunch and received swag bags. It was a day that will be remembered by our students for a long time!
