On Oct. 9, Elmont Memorial Business students participated in the Adelphi Apprentice Challenge, collaborating with students from schools across Long Island.
The Adelphi Apprentice Challenge gives high school students the opportunity to learn from the best and test their business skills. They challenged themselves by working with expert business faculty and marketing professionals, and learned essential and relevant marketing components, including the four Ps and how to successfully create a marketing plan. Then, students tested their skills and worked collaboratively in teams to develop a marketing plan based on a sample case assignment that was presented to an esteemed panel of judges. The team that creates the most successful marketing plan will be awarded the coveted title of the Adelphi Apprentice.
