On Oct. 18, Elmont Memorial Key Club participated in the walk at Jones Beach to raise awareness about breast cancer and support breast cancer research. This event was an opportunity for our members to come together, support those affected by breast cancer, honor survivors and remember those who have lost their lives to this disease. By participating in this walk, they demonstrate their commitment to community service while helping spread awareness about the importance of early detection, education, and continued research toward finding better treatments and a cure. Key Club Adviser Patricia Justin was joined by Elmont teachers Nkenge Gilliam and Chris Yee.
