The Floral Park Memorial High School Track and Field team celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of its talented athletes at the Conference 5 League Meet. Leanne Richardson, Max Krapf, Brian Lo and Kevon Seales earned All-County. All-Conference was earned by Maria Hernandez, Anjelina Estevez, Ryan Kenney and Michael Donovan.
Some highights include: Leanne Richardson, securing first place and running personal bests in both the 55 and 300 events. Anjelina Estevez had a season’s personal best in the 55 hurdles, securing a well-deserved second place. Maria Hernandez soared to victory, claiming first place in the long jump. Max Krapf demonstrated exceptional endurance, securing first place in the 1000 and an impressive second place in the 1600. Thomas Small exhibited remarkable skills, clinching third place in the 55 hurdles. Brian Lo took first place in the triple jump and an impressive second place in the long jump. Kevon Seales secured second place in the triple jump and an admirable third place in the long jump. He is a sophomore to watch! Ryan Kenney soared to success, securing second place in the high jump, and Michael Donovan secured a commendable third place.
As a whole, both teams had a phenomenal season. There have been too many personal best to mention and school records have been shattered by many.
