Congratulations to Lily Dixon and Diego Bueno on receiving the Anthony DiCarlo Soccer Scholarship. In loving memory of Anthony DiCarlo, a proud Floral Park resident, dedicated NYPD officer, and passionate soccer player and coach, this scholarship honors a man who left a lasting impact both on and off the field. Anthony devoted countless hours coaching youth soccer in Floral Park, especially mentoring his daughters and countless other young athletes with heart, discipline and encouragement.

To keep his spirit alive, Anthony’s brothers – Marc and Jason DiCarlo, both Floral Park Memorial graduates – have established this annual scholarship to recognize two deserving student-athletes from their alma mater. In partnership with The Brotherhood for the Fallen (NYC Chapter), the brothers are proud to award $750 each to one male and one female senior soccer player at FPM.

The recipients embody the qualities Anthony most admired: hard work, remarkable improvement and outstanding character. Through this scholarship, Anthony’s legacy continues to echo across the soccer fields of Floral Park; his voice and passion never forgotten.
