Congratulations to Ahkeel Rodney, who has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 High School Coach of the Year Award by the United States Coaches Association, as chosen by the Black Soccer Coaches Leadership Team. The award recognizes a leader who has transformed a program, elevated young people, and modeled excellence through vision, discipline and unwavering commitment. Coach Rodney led the soccer team to their first‑ever title and then returned to secure a second, delivering the school’s first back‑to‑back championships in its history. He was invited to be formally recognized at the United Soccer Coaches Awards Ceremony in Philadelphia on Jan. 16. Congratulations, Coach Rodney!
