The district is proud to announce that 62 Career and Technical Education students represented the district at the New York State SkillsUSA Conference in Syracuse, earning top honors while competing against more than 3,400 students from across the state.
This year, students earned 12 state-level placements, including five first-place finishes, more than doubling last year’s total and building on the strong momentum from the regional competition. Award winners represented all five high schools, highlighting the broad reach of student success across the district. Several students qualified for the SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Ga., in June. These accomplishments reflect the continued growth of the CTE programs, and the dedication of both students and staff.
