On Oct. 9, eight Floral Park Memorial High School students—Aaminah Khondker, Sameer Rashawn, Tanisha Patel, Serene Chung, Thomas Galanek, Gabriella Chivara, Jaidhan Sharma and Anaya Fraz— participated in the Adelphi University Apprentice Challenge.
The competition brought together high school students from across Long Island to put their business and marketing skills to the test. Students worked collaboratively to develop a creative marketing plan based on a real-world business challenge and presented their ideas to a panel of judges. Throughout the competition, students demonstrated teamwork, creativity, critical thinking and public speaking skills while gaining valuable experience in a competitive business environment.
A special congratulations to Thomas Galanek, who advanced to the final round of the competition! We are proud of all eight students for representing Floral Park Memorial and showcasing their business knowledge and leadership skills.
