New Hyde Park Memorial High School student Michelle Galeano had a winning entry in the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers’ Videocast Contest. Michelle’s entry, “Danza Paraguaya,” was selected for first place, best of division, in the category of Dance in the Upper Division. She will receive a $50 gift card from Amazon with the intent that the prize money be used to enhance the classroom.
