During the winter recess, our Italian students had the incredible opportunity to travel to Italy and experience the language and culture beyond the classroom. Throughout the trip, students visited Venice, Verona, Florence, Assisi and Rome, exploring the history, art and traditions that they have studied all year.
Some of the highlights included a gondola ride through the canals of Venice, a hands-on pizza-making experience and training at a gladiator school in Rome. Students practiced their Italian in real-life situations, tried new foods, navigated new cities, and gained a deeper appreciation for Italian culture and daily life.
The trip was not only educational but also truly memorable, allowing students to grow in independence, confidence and global awareness. We truly believe that traveling changes lives and that the memories they created will stay with our students for years to come.
