The National Italian Exam (NIE) is a prestigious exam sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Italian for middle and high school students in the United States. The exam measures students’ proficiency in the Italian language through listening, reading, grammar and cultural comprehension activities. Nineteen students participated in the Italian National Exam.
The following students were given awards and medals in recognition of their achievement on the exam: Pradyumna Bhat, Sarah Cano, Luciana DeBartolo, Ellie Huang, Dylan Imperatore, Bea Navarro, Aditi Parikh, Antonio Tsigos and Giorgio Tsigos.
