New Hyde Park Memorial High School's homecoming celebration brought together students, staff, families and community members for a spirited day of school pride and tradition on Sept. 19.

Festivities began with the annual homecoming parade, kicking off on Terrace Boulevard, where imaginative floats inspired by this year's theme of “America the Beautiful” made their way through the streets. The parade featured performances and appearances by the band, cheerleaders, Step Team, Romanettes, Twirlers and members of the homecoming court. Community organizations, including the American Legion Post 1089 and the New Hyde Park Fire Department, also joined the procession.

The excitement continued on the football field as the Gladiators took on Valley Stream Central in front of a packed crowd of supporters. Although the team did not come away with the win, they played with determination and gave their best effort throughout the game.

During halftime, spectators were treated to dynamic performances from the Twirlers, Romanettes, Step Team and varsity cheerleaders, highlighting American artists to align with this year’s theme. The celebration culminated with the crowning of Keith Luu and Carla Yanez-Delgado as this year's Royal Gladiators.

This annual tradition once again showcased the strong sense of school spirit and community that makes New Hyde Park Memorial's homecoming a special event for students and residents alike.
