On March 23, the Sewanhaka District Art Department hosted a student-artist reception at the Central Administration Building to honor 25 talented artists from the district. Each art teacher from the district chooses one piece of artwork from their finest student to be displayed. Administrators, teachers and family members celebrated the artistic talents of our wonderful students. Representing Sewanhaka High School are: Caleb Rivera , grade 11 from Mr. Lundergan’s Digital Design II class; Mara C. Brissault, grade 10 from Ms. Avanzi’s Studio Art class; Neha Chowdhury grade 11 from Mrs. Filippone’s AP 2D Design class; Chanely Herrera Guzman, grade 10 from Mrs. Kerschman’s Drawing & Painting class; Micheal Sicignano, grade 9 from Mr. Hendrick’s Studio Art class; and Hailey Sethi, grade 9 from Mrs. Levine’s Studio Art. Their stunning artwork will be on display in the Central Administration Offices for the entire year.
