The Atlantic Marine Conservation Society met with National Honor Society students to clean up part of the beach in Point Lookout on Oct. 16. The group educated the students on the types of marine life that live on and off Long Island’s shorelines. They also discussed how to rescue a sea turtle washed ashore, as well as mankind's influence on marine sea life.
