lava lamps

On March 20, the science department hosted its annual Science Showcase. Students in grades 7-9 were invited to participate in games and science demonstrations. Some of the activities included playing cornhole, making Oobleck, lava lamps, forensic fingerprinting, drawing blood from a phlebotomy arm, observing pond water from the Sewanhaka pond with a microscope, discovering their own geode, and playing with some Junior High Robotics Club equipment. Junior High Science Research students also displayed their research projects they competed with at research competitions. Students had a great time!
