On Sept. 17, Italian 5A students visited Little Italy to take part in the Feast of San Gennaro. This cultural experience enriched their classroom discussions about the influence of Italian culture on life in America. While exploring this historic neighborhood, students witnessed how an Italian-American community interprets and celebrates a traditional Italian feast. They also enjoyed sampling a variety of Italian dishes, making the day a delicious one!
