Art students in Isabella Avanzi and John Hendrick’s classes submit 46 pieces of artwork for the New York State 2023 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fine Arts and Essay Exhibit. The students’ art illustrates Dr. King’s Six Principles and Steps of Nonviolence and celebrate Dr. King’s birthday. The state will select artwork to be displayed in Empire State Plaza in Albany throughout the rest of January and February. Sewanhaka High School is proud to have so many excellent submissions!
