Seventh Graders’ in the Library

Sewanhaka High School seventh graders in Ms. McBrien’s English class entered the Young Writers’ “Twisted Tales” writing contest in October. The students were challenged to write a 100-word story and put a twist on the classic narrative of good versus evil.

Recently, more than 20 students in the class were notified that they were selected to be featured in the “Twisted Tales” publication. The following students’ writing entries were chosen: Iqra Ali, Chelsea Anderson, Taliah Bossous, Kayla Castro, Alisha Cidorne, Nayyab Fatima, Kayla Jelyn Francisco, Sophia George, Jamal Gilmore, Mahrukh Khan, Shahid (Amir) Khan, Eunho (Joseph) Lee, Nastassja McDonald, Marlen Sinche Patino, Marcelo Ramirez, Ashal Raza, Sara Shahadat, Andrew Sui, Humna Tahir, Matthew Vasquez, Sebastian Vitale and Milan Wright.
