New Hyde Park Memorial High School student Jessica Johnson had her artwork, titled “Delicate,” selected to be on display in the 16th annual “Go APE” Advanced Placement Exhibition in the Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery at the Art League of Long Island in Dix Hills.
The exhibit, which is on view through Feb. 18, features 2D and 3D works by approximately 137 AP and IB art students from 40 schools across Long Island.
In addition to having her work chosen to be on display, Johnson received an Award of Excellence for her piece.
