Five H. Frank Carey High School student-artists had their artwork selected for display in the artwork showcase hosted by Congressional District 4, under the guidance of Congressman Anthony D’Esposito’s office, at Island Park Library on May 3.

Each year, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent across the country and within each congressional district.

The showcase featured a collection of 80 artworks from various schools within the congressional district. The Carey students represented were Adrianna Barragan, Lili Duggan, Arwa Moid, Alyssa Osso and Megan Wong.
