The district celebrated its annual Sewanha-Con on March 16. Students from throughout the district enjoyed a full day of anime, cosplay, video games and creativity. The day began with special appearances from the Star Wars 501st Empire City Garrison and the NYC Ghostbusters, along with movie and video game performances from the chamber orchestra. Students also made their own comics with Sewanhaka art teacher Mr. Hendrik and enjoyed anime trivia with Floral Park science teachers Ms. Wiswall and Mr. Buhse. Students also got opportunities to make slime, design origami and more!
