Now in its 27th year, this national recognition celebrates school districts and individual schools that demonstrate exceptional commitment to music education and a sustained effort to ensure all students have equitable access to music as part of a well-rounded academic experience.
Chosen among 127 individual schools, Elmont Memorial earned this distinction through a comprehensive application and review process that evaluated program support, instructional time, student participation, facilities and community involvement.
